one of my favorite things about my trip to London was the color everywhere. there were so many crazy things going on there, from markets to events to plays.

the photo on the left was taken at a stall in the market at Portobello Road, and the witch poster was on the side of a church down the way from the booth. it reads: Don't imitate what is evil, but what is good.

when i returned home, after 4.5 weeks in London (summer 2004), i compiled a series of dyptichs which were later shown (summer 2006), in the Carnegie gallery in Covington, Kentucky.
