one of my early book fetishes was to make mini artist books with an accordian fold. this book was made with images taken with a really low res digital pen camera. the images were printed on glossy paper, and then tiled in the book--all are self portraits.
the images took on a cotton candy pink tone by virtue of the camera qualities and lighting.
